Finest quality extra virgin olive oil obtained using only mechanical processes.
The flavor of Tenute Caracci extra virgin olive oil is intensely fruity, herbaceous with notes of green pepper, tomato and artichoke and with a slightly spicy aftertaste that slightly tingles the palate, especially when the oil is young.

These are the primary aromas of Tenute Caracci oil, which, not being filtered, but only decanted, does not lose the precious natural tannins that give it such a unique and typical flavour, rich in centuries-old history.

Bottled extra virgin olive oil

  • Olive grove altitude: approximately 300 meters above sea level.
  • Production techniques: The olives, harvested manually, are sent for processing on the same day by extraction with a continuous cold cycle (processing temperatures below 26°C), to preserve the entire organoleptic structure of the oil.
  • Organoleptic test: Intense and bright green colour, medium fruity of green olive, tending towards aromas of artichoke, fresh grass, green tomatoes etc., basically sweet with spicy and bitter notes.
  • Use: The particular composition of this oil makes it suitable to be combined with all Mediterranean cuisine dishes. Excellent if used raw on soups, salads, croutons and roasts.
  • Notes: total acidity 0.26% oleic acid – number of peroxides 5 meq/Kg oil.

The extra-virgin olive oil from Tenute Caracci is produced from the Nocellara del Belice cultivar, an olive tree typical of the Trapanese valley. Its quality and uniqueness have been branded with the D.O.P. mark, a recognition that attests to the goodness of an exceptional product at a European level.

The entire production process of Tenute Caracci is carried out cold, i.e. at a controlled temperature not exceeding 25-27°C. No solvents are used in the creation of their extra virgin olive oils, preserving the organoleptic structure of the oil (flavours are preserved).

This yields a flavour of Tenute Caracci extra virgin olive oil that is intensely fruity, herbaceous with notes of green pepper, tomato and artichoke and with a slightly spicy aftertaste that slightly pinches the palate.
